Assalamualaikum,
It has been over one year now since my last post. Okay, at that time I was still in Pohang, Korea in my study period. Around the same month, I had my miscarriage for my first pregnancy. Well, everything is arranged in Allah's hand and I accept that patiently. Only my husband knew about the pregnancy and we just kept it out from our family. But, we told them about the sad news and everyone just keep calming me after that. So, here come Hari Raya on that year (2015) and I went back home (of course! never missed that event). I took quite a long vacation since we had a feast of sister-in-law's wedding. Then, during kenduri at pihak lelaki in Perlis, we had another surprise which is my second pregnancy. Followed by all the 'loya' and nausea and everything. So, I extended my vacation until beginning of September, after I feel a little bit relieved and calmed. Just few days on my returning to Pohang, I made my mind to wrap up my work and finish my study. Well, I had all requirement fulfilled after my paper been accepted on June. So, Grandpa agreed, and all the work had been focused to make a good thesis. I put aside my second manuscript for a while and focused on current goal. Then, the big day is coming on October during Grandpa's visit in Pohang. I did my very best and he just satisfied well with my work. Honestly, one or some of the thesis committee member were not satisfied but they just agree with Grandpa and want to let me finish my study there. From the beginning this two 'parties' (Grandpa and some people) were not in agreement with my work, however, since Grandpa is my supervisor, advisor, friend, and etc; so there are willing to agree for my work. And I do have a paper! Does it mean something, guys? During that time, I feel relieved and happy with my viva, but stress with unsatisfied work to some people...
So that is that. I made the corrections and prepare the hardcover and submit in December. Then, before I finish, I took an opportunity to present a paper in France in November and I went with my husband (because already 5 months pregnancy). So the trip extends to UK, and we stop at Liverpool to a friend's house and to Manchester to attend a match (Manchester United! so it was arranged and supported by my hubby). By 29 December, I took my flight to home sweet home....for good! I report to work duty on beginning of January and now I am officially worker in UKM. I had my chance to give lectures in that coming semester and I had my maternity leave starting 11th April 2016. I will story about it later.
Till then, Eid Mubarak!
